HL7 Arden Syntax Implementation Guide: Arden Syntax on FHIR, Edition 1

DESCRIPTION

The recently approved v3.0 of Arden Syntax includes for the first time a standard data model (FHIR) for representation of data being used in Arden Syntax medical logic modules (MLMs) to provide clinical decision support as well as constructs for manipulation of data that is structured according to the model. The purpose of this project is to create an implementation guide that provides guidance to Arden Syntax implementers how to represent and manipulate data using this standard. This IG is distinct from the extant series of IGs (Arden Syntax IG) that already provides guidance on how to use the Arden Syntax generally as it will be focused just on data acquisition and representation.
