Completed W. end of lateral valley (recommenced
Dec. 1) with small results recorded under Nos. 276-285. At the very end
were traces of workmen's huts, lots of chippings from front of Merenptah's
tomb, including frags. from the inner doorjambs of the tomb cut away to
allow entry of sarcophagus. [Note to finds 280-5 on page 18.]
