Friends of the Everglades has launched a campaign aimed at public acquisition of land in the Everglades Agricultural Area for environmental restoration.
Since our founding in 1969 by Marjory Stoneman Douglas, integrity and impact have guided our work and served as our moral compass as we advance our mission to preserve, protect, and restore the only Everglades in the world.
Our youth education program teaches children about the Everglades, ignites passion for nature and conservation, and fosters a lifelong love for the environment.
