Meet the Faculty
Our public-private collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise dramatically increased UW-Eau Claire's supercomputing processing power. Students and faculty can now engage in more high-performance, data-driven research.
We have two supercomputing clusters available for free to our campus community for any research or classroom computing needs.

Blugold Stories
A collaboration between Hewlett Packard Enterprise and UW-Eau Claire is giving Blugolds the opportunity to use high-performance computing to engage in their data-driven research. Supercomputers can process massive data sets in a short period, allowing students and faculty to dedicate more time on other aspects of their research.

The Computer Science Department focuses on excellence in educating graduates with the fundamentals of computer science and skills to solve complex technological problems and lead the computing industry. Students are exposed to multidisciplinary domains through student/faculty research projects that provide creative leading-edge solutions for both industrial and societal needs. Students are also able to communicate their ideas clearly and concisely and are fully committed to the ethical practices in their field of expertise.
