The Packard Foundation Fellowships in Science and Engineering
-The Packard Fellowship Program provides 24 of the most promising
science and engineering researchers/new faculty members across the United
States 125,000ドル per year over five years to support their scientific research.
It is one of the nation's largest nongovernmental programs of unrestricted
grants to young university faculty in science and engineering. The Fellows'
research covers a multitude of disciplines in science and engineering,
ranging from investigations into the origin of the universe, to the
development of novel materials and nanostructures, to the decoding of
the human genome with novel chemistry and computational models. The funds
are made possible through the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
