Things I've done

• I founded LibAgent and am still actively involved. We're now handling book-renewals for more than 25000 students.
• I use the FreeBSD operating system on quite a few workstations, laptops, and servers. Here is an account of me setting it up on an IBM ThinkPad X23 and an IBM ThinkPad X31. I've written articles regarding Lightweight FTP jail with NAT and Compact Flash on FreeBSD. I also maintain a few FreeBSD ports.
• After coming from Israel to the US for graduate studies, I decided to share my experience in hope others could use some of the tips.
• A few software packages I use.
