Chantier Naval de Marseille (CNdM) is a ship repair yard with state-of-the-art and well-equipped facilities, a highly skilled workforce, a wide network of specialists and a strong teamwork ethic.

Strategically located in Marseille, and close to major Mediterranean terminals, CNdM benefits from its proximity to the competitive maritime and industrial hinterland, and is well positioned to support all maritime needs. Chantier Naval de Marseille, together with its sister company, San Giorgio del Porto (SGdP), is a one-stop shop for repair, conversion and refitting operations in the shipping industry.

Repair and Maintenance

Ship repair and maintenance form the core business of the two yards: from mid-range ships to the giants of the sea, CNdM has the facilities, the teams and the technical know-how to carry out any kind of repair.

Specialized Services

In addition to standard repair and maintenance services, the shipyards also offer specialvalue-added options. Major engine and equipment makers are their regular partners and their have selected qualified service providers. Both shipyards are able to execute all kinds of work on vessel propulsion, ranging from removal of tail shafts and rudders to complete overhaul of thrusters or azipod in our workshops.

Refitting Services

CNdM is able to provide fully customised refitting services and conversion operations. Whether the shipowner wants to give a new look to an old vessel, renew or revamp existing areas, boost a ship’s capacity or improve its efficiency, the yard's teams are able to design, manage and deliver any project, regardless of its complexity.

Painting and Washing

The Genova Industrie Navali group (GIN group) has strong expertise in applying and using all types of paint and the latest washing and dustless technologies, such as robotic hydro-blasting with ultra-high-pressure water cleaning (up to 3,000 bar) for hull or deck treatment. The yard also carries out other services such as tank coating,
