Christoph R?hl
Christoph R?hl was born in Brighton to German and English parents. He studied History and German at the University of Manchester and was awarded a First Class Double Honours Degree with distinction. He later studied directing at

sex abuse case at one of Germany's most famous boarding schools, was nominated for a National German TV Award, won the Robert Geissend?rfer Prize and was released in cinemas in 2011. His film "The Chosen Ones" was broadcast on German television in October 2014. It was nominated for the Prix Europa and won the Gold World Medal in New York. In 2017 he directed the costume drama "Kaisersturz" which dealt with the events leading up to the abdication of the last German Emperor in the dying days of World War I.
