Hi lloyd

I have tried emailing you but to no avail.

While on the internet, my husband and I came across his grandparent's names' on your website (family history section). My husband, Michael Lomax's grandparents were Stella Vipond who married Thomas Lomax. Stella and your grandmother - Ethelwyn were sisters.

This would mean that my husband, Michael and you are second cousins.

I would be very interested in finding out more about Ethelwyn's parents if possible. I understand that your Uncle Whyard is interested as well in family history however there were no contact details for him on the web site. I would be grateful if you could pass this information on to him.

Looking forward to your reply

G'day Heidi,

Sorry about being tardy getting back to you Heidi.

Unfortunately, Whyard doesn't have an email address, so it's not easy to put you in contact with him. Though a search of whitepages.com.au for W W Borrett should give you his phone number.

He'll probably have all of the information you need and then some.

Where did great Aunt Stella live? I'm sure I've probably been there as a kid.

The Higgins family ran the bakery at Milang. That's where Ethelwyn and Stella would have grown up. On my last trip to Milang with my parents we found out that part of the bakery is now a B&B.

I'm sure there are references to the Higgins family in the books I've seen on Milang, Langhornes Creek etc. which you may be able to get via your local library.

Regards, Lloyd.
