RFC Repositories

The following links will help you find RFCs:

• Up-to-date RFC index from ISI (ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc-index.txt) - 400 kilobytes (130 pages) in ASCENDING order (new stuff last !!)
• rfcindex.txt - a local copy of the above, pulled on 2000年09月25日 - ends with RFC2931.
• HTML Index from FachHochschule Koeln (http://rfc.fh-koeln.de/doc/rfc/html_gz/rfc.html.gz) Very convenient to use, but the tail end seems to have problems with decompression in the browser. Use this link to get the uncompressed version if you have problems.
• Lynn Wheeler's RFC index. Good if you know how to use it.
• RFC-EDITOR.ORG
• http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc0829.txt - a sample URL showing how to get an individual RFC.
