Entertainment, hospitality and leisure operator Amalgamated Holdings (AHD) has entered negotiations to acquire Skycity Entertainment Group’s cinema business. The proposed purchase price is 47ドル.3 million.
Skycity’s cinema business is the market leader in New Zealand where it accounts for more than 35 per cent of box office revenue. The business includes 13 cinemas across New Zealand, as well as interests in Rialto Cinemas, altogether accounting for 122 screens. The transaction also includes 10 screens in Fiji.
