皆さんおまちかねの Advent Calendar の季節がやってきました。
常にアンテナを高くしている皆さんはきっと OpenStack とか Docker とかの Advent Calendar をやると思いますが、どうでしょうか、温故知新という言葉があるように、今の技術が今に至るに至った理由を Eucalyptus を触りながら紐解いてみるのは如何でしょうか?
日本の皆さんが知っている Eucalyptus の大半は恐らく 2009 〜 2010 年頃のバージョン 1.6 〜 2.0 系の頃の Eucalyptus だと思いますが、あの頃に比べると Eucalyptus も随分と変化しました。Eucalyptus のその変化を窓辺から見える 12 月の物憂げな空気とハートフルなイベントムードが入り交じったこの季節のなか、一緒に皆さんで暖めてみませんか?
特に難しいことを書く必要はありません、なんなら自宅に植えてある Eucalyptus Tree のことを書いても OK ですし、アロマオイルのことを書いても OK です。そうです、OpenStack や CloudStack とは違い、この Eucalyptus Advent Calendar はオーガニックな話題も扱えるんです、扱えちゃうんです。8 秒に 1 人、Eucalyptus の香りを嗅いでいるんです!むむっ!
