Our 2026 MLB mock draft is more based after the draft lottery and the start of free agency, as of December 19th.

15 of the 18 non-playoff teams are eligible for the lottery - Colorado, Washington, and the LA Angels are ineligible. The White Sox won the lottery, with the Rays moving up from No. 7 to No. 2. The Twins pick at No. 3, and the Giants moved from 12th to 4th.

Toronto, Philadelphia, the LA Dodgers and NY Yankees receive a 10-pick penalty for exceeding the second surcharge threshold of the Competitive Balance Tax.
