Upcoming Events

We are a friendly, welcoming society who host monthly meetings and outings, attend town events, distribute a regular newsletter, publish historical booklets, and support local conservation projects.

Meetings: We have an interesting and varied list of meetings scheduled for 2026 – please see our Meetings section to find out more about the topics being covered. Guests are always welcome at any meeting.

Visiting: We love welcoming visitors to our meetings and events, please feel free to drop in to a meeting that catches your eye. There is a 4ドル visitor charge to our meetings, you can pay with cash or card.

Gift Subscriptions make an excellent present for loved ones, and are now available at a cost of 23ドル which will cover the period 1st January 2026 to 31st March 2027 (15 months) to include all meetings and newsletters.

Archives: Donations to our archives will be gratefully received, especially if the items relate directly to our lovely town. We collect everything from postcards, pottery, military material, and pub signs to clothing.
