An FYI, though: Ice conditions vary and change rapidly, and Wisconsin fishing licenses are required! ❄️ Snowmobiling: PenPark has 17 miles of scenic snowmobile trails, too. 🛷 Sledding and Tubing: The number 17 fairway at the Peninsula State Park golf course (known among the locals as "Hill 17") is a favorite sledding spot. The park is still here and still open for your off-season outdoor adventures, minus the summer crowds. We're glad you asked. ☺️ First, Bayside Coffees are only available at Bayside Tavern (@baysidetavern). The drink starts off with a healthy dose of Gosling Black Seal 151, which gets lit on fire (it's a great show!). Spices are added to the rum, and here's the tricky part: while the bartender keeps the glass spinning throughout the drink-making process to keep the flame going, Grand Marnier, Baileys, and Kahlua is added. Then, of course, coffee and a generous serving of whipped cream. (It's basically a hug in a mug.) Bayside Coffee fans, where are you? What's a holiday season without music? We wouldn't What's a holiday season without music? We wouldn't know, because our local performing arts organizations have some GREAT music on the docket for the next few months. Here are just a few of the events you'll want to put on your calendars: Door Community Auditorium (@dcauditorium) has two musical events to get you into the holiday spirit, starting on Saturday, November 30. Local band Ketchup (also known as the unofficial house band of Hill Street!) will reimagine and celebrate Booker T. & the M.G.'s iconic album 'In the Christmas Spirit', along with other soul classics from the holidays and beyond. A few weeks later on Saturday, December 14, Colin & Friends will be joining onstage for "Songs that Sleigh": a holiday show of classics, Broadway and just plain silliness. Next, make sure you check out Birch Creek Music Performance Center's (@birchcreekmusic) 'Christmas at Birch Creek' concerts on Saturday, December 7. There are two shows (a matinee and an evening show) that day, where you'll find Christmas and holiday songs performed by Birch Creek Symphony Brass, Dan Moore, Percussion, Door County Community Handbell Choir and Guest Performers. And finally, wrap it all up with Northern Sky Theater's (@northernskythtr) 'Home for the Holidays' show (pictured here!), running from December 27 through December 31.
