Stratosphere

A Research Project

Stratosphere is a research project whose goal is to develop the next generation Big Data Analytics platform. The project includes universities from the area of Berlin, namely, TU Berlin, Humboldt University and the Hasso Plattner Institute.

A data analysis platform called Apache Flink

The Stratosphere project developed, and contributes to a platform that became an Apache project in 2014 under the name Apache Flink. You can visit the project's page at flink.apache.org.
