    Steps

    1. Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice
    2. Add the simple syrup, bourbon, bitters and cherry syrup and stir until well-chilled
    3. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
    4. Top with maraschino cherries and/or a twist of an orange peel

    Notes

    • This recipe is very flexible. Have fun with it!
    • Try swapping simple syrup for maple syrup, flavored syrup and/or the types of bitters
    • Makers Mark, Woodford reserive and Whistle Pig are bourbons I’ve tried and would recommend as a starting point
    • Luxardo maraschino are really good if you can get them
    • Large ice cubes/spheres are best, but not necessary. They keep the drink cold and don’t melt as fast.

Hi, Hello. This is an example note feature included with Astro Cactus.

They’re for shorter, concise "post’s" that you’d like to share, they generally don’t include headings, but hey, that’s entirely up to you.
