The 2015 Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) Implementation Workshop, held on 23–24 September 2015 in Rome, Italy, brought together over 120 experts from around the world to share technical experiences and advance the use of CAP for effective emergency alerting. Hosted by the Fire Corps Academy of Italy (ISA) and co-sponsored by IFRC, WMO, ITU, and OASIS, the workshop focused on CAP-enabled tools, alert feed aggregation, national case studies, and the expanding role of mobile alerting apps.
