Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had tried running a real-time OS e.g. QNX under
Xen and if so what the performance of the real time OS was like.
Thanks,
Steve
Steve, I believe this would be pointless although I have not tried it
myself. Since Xen controls the scheduling of CPU time across all guest
domains the real time OS would probably perform the same as a non
real-time OS if not worse since it's not able to run the OS like it
expects. This is assuming the OS ran at all as a domU.
Cheers,
Eric
