I am fine with the new patch.
Interestingly this issue is not present on x86_64 FC4. Gcc versions are
different for FC4 on these architectures.
FC4 I386:
gcc (GCC) 4.0.1 20050727 (Red Hat 4.0.1-5)
FC4 X86_64:
gcc (GCC) 4.0.0 20050519 (Red Hat 4.0.0-8)
