I've used the OpenSUSE 10.0 and the 10.1 build.

No way. I have an existing sda2 and used now this device in the config file:
 disk = [ 'phy:xenvg/inhouse-root,sda2,w' ]
 root = "/dev/sda2"
and in the domU /etc/fstab:
 /dev/sda2 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
Any other ideas?
Stephan
