Nope - only the operating system kernel needs porting to Xen. Since you're 
booting with that, you should be fine. (but you'll need to move /lib/tls out 
of the way, e.g. "mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.disabled" for running properly under 
Xen)

Is it a USB mouse? The default kernel build doesn't have USB support, so 
you'd need to enable it for this to work.
Since you're using FC2, I imagine the pretty graphical boot has stopped 
working too. It can work in principle (perhaps putting "rhgb" at the end of 
the "module /vmlinuz..." line would work) but it's nothing to worry about in 
any case.

You were right to start with - dropping Xen onto your existing install will 
work fine. Fedora works fine with Xen.
