Participants' Life in Okinawa

Electrical appliances or electronic devices
In JICA Okinawa International Center,every single room is furnished with a bed a chair,a TV equipped with video, a DVD player,room lamps,and telephone set which enables you to call inside JICA Okinawa and receive all incoming calls including international calls.

Accomodation buildings is equippes with laundry room on each floor. And also wshing machines and irons are available for free.However, towels and tioletries are not available and cooking facilities is not equipped.Cooking in the room is strictly prohibited.

Electric voltage and plug type
The voltage used Okinawais uniformly 100 volts, A.C. and 60 Hertz.

Restaurant
The OIC restaurant prepares the menu that considers the dining habit and the religion of each country for the trainee who has come from every country in the world.
The special lunch menu of the country is prepared at Independence Day of trainee's national origin. And, the photograph and folkcraft are exhibited at the dining room entrance and it introduces the country. A general person can also use it.

You can use the bus, the taxi, and the monorail as a public transportation facility around OIC.

From Naha City:
5 min walk from "Kosei-en Iriguchi" by Urban Line No.25 and 97.
15 min walk from "Ishimine Iriguchi" by Urban LIne No.9, 11,and 17.
From Urasoe City:
10 min walk from "Maeda-nishi-Iriguchi" by Suburbs Line No.56

Monorail "Yui-Rail":
10 min by Taxi from Gibo Station.

Taxi:
20 min from Naha Downtown. 30 min from Naha Airport
