Hi, my name is Miet.
I design digital products
for human beings.

One of the most beautiful things I saw in 2023 was the sunset in Casablanca at the beach. You can't capture this feeling in a picture but the memory is here, in this picture, on this page.

Send me a toot or an email.

Spam me and I will murder you.

Good design is good business

I help organisations figure out what services their audience need to accomplish a goal, and what their teams need to build services that can help people accomplish that goal.

We create these services for businesses, users and the society we live in. Bringing these aspects together help build something truly valuable.

Creating a service is a team effort. We can only accomplish good design if every person is on board with delivering the best service possible.

Coach & Organiser Open Summer of Code

Open summer of code offers open source projects, made by students, coaches & organisations.

As a coach, I helped the students with design, project management, presentation skills, client communication and workflow.

As an organiser, I helped organise and plan the production of the summer school, on- and offline. I made sure coaches develop their coaching abilities and create tools for them to use so they, and their students, can focus on making their customer happy and build a valuable product.

Project manager & designer at iRail Summer of Code

Open Summer of Code is a 4 week programme in different Belgian cities during the summer of 2017. The goal: provide Belgian based students the training, network and support necessary to transform open innovation projects into powerful real-world services. I had the privilege of guiding students with their open source projects as a project manager, by providing SCRUM management techniques, wireframing techniques and helping out with their branding / UX / UI issues.
