From Our Partners
"Maps are like a north star. They are the DNA of what World Central Kitchen is. They tell a story of who and where you are helping, and give you a sense of what’s really going on, and who needs help, sometimes in very, very big spaces. The support and commitment from our friends at Mapbox make this possible, and also helps us share our work with others."
Chef José Andrés,
Founder, World Central Kitchen
"In a wildfire situation, information about where a fire is and how it is moving must be clear, reliable, and easily accessible. We chose Mapbox to power the Fire Map because it delivers top notch performance at scale and gives us full control over the design of the map. Our new map enables the public to monitor dynamic wildfires..."
Brent VanKeulen,
Deputy Director, Western Fire Chiefs Association

Using Mapbox, UNHCR is able to produce maps that meet UN standards while also providing the best performance and reliability for our inter-agency coordination and data sharing platform."

"For the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to respond to the incredible challenge of meeting the widespread need for reliable and timely information on vaccines across the US, knowing we were facing a massive amount of usage and high expectations. With Mapbox, we were able to get the site rebuilt and launched within 4 weeks and the map has already been viewed over 100 million times..."
John Brownstein,
Chief Innovation Officer, Boston Children’s Hospital
"Using the Boundaries functionality on our map to define the custom areas that our councils served really improved the user experience and ultimately resulted in getting the parent to the right council - the first time."
