[Yaesu] Yaesu G-800SA Problems, Stumped...

Got my tower back up today, took it down and moved, reinstalled. Put all new Rotor cable in from the controller to the rotor, did the calibration from the manual, everything looked perfect. Installed the antenna’s and aimed them North, I have North Center for my controller instead of South like some do. Everything looked good until I started to actually use stuff tonight.
So if I swing from N to NW the controller needle tracks the movement and it looks fine on the tower, go further to West and its off about 20 degrees, its more WNW, continue rotating to SW and again its WSW, by the time I get to SE on on the controller the antennas are facing South.
Its like the controller is faster then the rotor or the rotor is slower then the controller, either way there is a inconsistency. Go clockwise back to North and everything is still wrong and when the antennas are pointed North the controller reads NNE.
Now from everything I read online these have an issue with a drive belt or some such in the controller for turning the indicator, but every instance I can find online was where the controller was moving slower, jerking, or not moving at all, but mine is the complete opposite and its moving faster then the rotor is.
Had a look at the rotor while it was turning, sounds good, no binding, doesn’t pull down or slow down, nice consistent rotating speed, no problems that I can hear or see. But it still doesn’t match the indicator on the controller. Am I missing something simple here? I checked connections on both ends of the cable, no issues, checked the voltage and resistance on both ends of the cable, checked inside the controller on the back side of the Molex plug, same readings as I am seeing on the cable itself, but yet the problem remains. I never know where the heck I’m aimed after moving it, I seem to lose 20-30 degrees while rotating.
Any suggestions??
