I have a yaesu 757GX that has developed a problem that started with the display. After operating okay for a hour or so the display would go blank but continue to tx and rx but would not move frequency. Most other stuff seemed to work. As time went on the amount of time before the display went blank became shorter until it would not come on at all. Then it would not tx or receive.
 
Anyone have this problem in the past and have any idea what went wrong. Apprecieate any help.
