[Yaesu] Wanted ADMS-2D for YAESU

The cable for some (all?) Yaesu radios is a simple level translator -
translates voltage levels from std RS232 to the lower levels most
radios use (approximately TTL levels). I have the one from the
ADMS-1D (IIRC) that I got for my VX1R. I routinely use that cable in
place of a ICOM CT-17 for the computer interface to my 756PRO3 and
also used it to program memories on my new IC-7000. (Plus programming
my VX-1R, of course).
I had to add a converter at the tip to convert from 3 pin plug to 2
pin - 2ドル at Radio Shack.
So I would guess that ANY level translator will work to replace that
cable. If you already have something on a different radio, it will
_probably_ work after you get the plug tip conversion right.
