[Yaesu] spam messages...

No, that happens whenever some IDIOT signs up to any maillist using one of
the challenge/reply kind of so-called anti-spam services. I have yet to see
any of those programs which explains to their customers how the system works
and have never seen any of the idiots who sign up for such crap who have
enough of a brain to realize that they cannot use one of these services on
an address that they use for any kind of mail list.
YOU "haven't seen any here" because you had not posted a message since the
idiot linked this maillist to his anti-spam service. BUT since then you
HAVE gotten one of this idiot automatic challenge messages because when you
posted a message to the list, qth.net sent that message to all the list
members (including the idiot) and his anti-spam service bounced your message
back to you.
Later tonight qth.net will send this message to the list (again including
this same idiot) and that same idiot's same anti-spam service will bounce my
message back to me -- at which point I will file an abuse complaint with the
ISP hosting the idiot's anti-spam service AND with the idiot's own ISP.
The only other alternative is for the list owner to remove and permanently
ban the idiot responsible.
