I forgot to make that point; but yes, the 75 ohm version of both BNC and
type N conns is smaller and ruined the FIRST time you try to plug in a 50
ohm version, as the tangs of the female socket get bent out and often
break, especially when you try bending them back. I don't think there's a
75-ohm SMA but wouldn't be surprised. And I don't recall whether SMBs or
SMCs are available in both 50 and 75 ohm types but SMBs are often used in
90-ohm video applications.
