[Yaesu] FT 857D & ATAS120 Tuning (Additional Testing)

The antenna tunes fine on 10, 12, 20, and 40 meters - as long as the truck's
engine is not running. With the engine on, it stops tuning as described before.
The volt meter on the display shows 14.4 volts with the engine running. That's
fairly normal. One theory is alternator whine voltage on the dc line causing
interference. Vehicle is a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 L engine.
The antenna will not tune on 15, 17, or 6 meters (even with the engine off). It
starts then stops within 1 second. 17 meters doesn't surprise me since the
literature with the antenna states it wasn't specified for operation on this
band. Why it will tune on 12 meters (not specified for this band either) but
not 15 is a mystery.
