[Yaesu] Attention FT857/857D owners

A local ham bought the above-referenced rig and is quite pleased with it. He
says the '857 has a built-in antenna tuner, according to the manual.
Not in my manual
My 857D does not have one and I would like to know where they would find
room to install one.
It's an option and has to be installed externally between the antenna
connector and antenna but it is operated trough the menu of the rig. You can
choose between ATAS antenna or Tuner. Maybe that is what your friend read.
Have him read it again.
I have the FC30 which works quite well.
