My guess is that since the radio is under warranty, you should send it
back for repair. From the sound of it, you've got something other than
a bad speaker. More like a defective audio amplifier.

I just have a brand new 1000MP MkV Field which I bought few weeks ago.
It looks like when I turn radio on the sound from the internal speaker
is
OK. After about half an hour when radio warms up a bit the internal
speaker
start sounding like from the hollow tube.
Do I need to return whole radio for repair or just ask the YAESU service
department for replacement speaker and do the fix myself as I prefer to
do
this way.
