[Yaesu] FT-301D

I recently acquired an FT-301D that was told was in good working
order. Seems to be having a problem with the VFO in tuning. From
the sounds of it, it appears to be tuning in freq, but the digital readout
remains constant, IE 14.001.5 will stay fixed in the readout as I spin
the VFO knob...Same for all the other bands. Appears to be putting
out power into a dummy load, but don't want to get on the air without
knowing exactly what freq I'm on. Anyone familiar with this rig and what
I should look for to trouble shoot? Thanks...
