[Yaesu] Looking to get FT857-comments welcome

I recently sold my FT100D (which I loved) and the deal
I had for the TS2000 to replace it fell through, so I
am now looking for a replacement. I think the deal
right now on the FT857 is excellent, and am looking
for comments on how this radio performs. Would be
using it mainly in the base station, with occassional
mobile. Is it a worthy replacement for the FT100D? 
It seems to have some very nice features that were
left off of the FT100, like extra keyer memories,
headphones jack, spotting switch.
Any comments about this radio would be appreciated.
