BTW; instead of the standard (2400/2500 Hz) Murata filter in the Sub Rx you
are able to install an Inrad (or Yaesu) x-tal filter. I want to swap my
Murata filter for a 2800 Inrad filter. The only thing which is difficult is
to un-solder the Murata; be careful!
The CAT-control would be a very good investment. Preferable is the
FIF-232Cvan, if you still be able to get one.
Enjoy your 1000D! It's my favorite on SSB.
