[Yaesu] MD-100 Mic

I have an MD-100A8X microphone in which the filter switch settings are 
not compatible with my FT-840. It came as part of the package deal with 
the 840 and pwr supply. The mic works fine in the straight thru mode, 
but has no output in the filter mode. In other Yaesu rigs, the rig 
provides the voltage for the filters at the rigs connector.
Does anyone have the plug wiring diagram for this mic? I'd like to make 
an adapter so as to use the filters in it...Or has anyone tried this? 
 IF so how does the mic perform in the filter settings. Is it worth the 
effort of building an adapter?
