I've had this discussion with a few people. The MP owners don't care to
admit that the '920 could even compare to their rigs. In some measure
they are correct. I own a '920 and have had the opportunity to use an
MP and a MkV. I really like the user interface of the '920 DSP over the
pre-selected DSP functions on the MP versions. Why Yaesu didn't
incorporate a continuously variable style DSP in the MkV is beyond me.
To have done this, Yaesu might be thinking folks would choose the '920
over the MkV as they would appear to have similar functionality.
