[Yaesu] FT757 tuning knob

Hi Roger,
Cigarette ashes - bloody disgusting, excuse my Latin.
Animal fur - not too high a price to pay for long hours in the shack, with a
faithful dog (or cat) curled up nearby.
Next question: Is "faithful cat" a valid concept?

I bought a 757 two years ago with the knob wobble included.
It took a while to find out how to remove the main knob: just pull it
straight out.
The wobble was removed by tightening the lock nut behind that nylon bushing
you will see remaining on the tuning shaft.
I discovered this after removing the entire case to remove the animal fur
and cigarette ashes from the inside.
