Dear John:
>> If you want to be a whiny liberal passifist

Wow, what nice compliments you had for Al. Whiny he isn't, but
liberal... I am very proud of my liberal views. I assume you mean
pacifist and just can't spell. That, in these difficult times, takes
courage. I believe some evils must be fought and therefore I can't be a
pacifist, but I admire the courage and ideals of those who can stick to
pacifist principles when such views are decidedly unpopular.
> that
> doesn't want to offend anyone

The point of offending someone is? You've written a patently offensive
post. You accomplished what? How did that work to improve Yaesu repair
turn around times or quality assurance?
> and just be another
> spoon-fed droid robotic product of our increasing
> socialistic society..

Ah... did I mention that I am a socialist as well? OK, a democratic
(small d) socialist. I believe in individual liberties and democratic
freedoms, but also believe that certain essential services are best
handled by a central authority. Very few Americans call themselves
socialist nowadays. Being able to do so isn't being "a robotic droid",
but rather is being willing to stand up and take what are often seen as
unpopular views. If that is what you are accusing Al of, again, I think
you paid him a huge compliment.
> Otherwise, don't worry about it! Some might appreciate
> the thread.

Horse... beaten... dead.
Have a very nice day, and don't let anyone dare try to broaden your
viewpoints or question at all.
Now, if we're done with personal attacks, let's get back to discussing
Yaesu radios, OK? I'll take another unpopular view: I think Yaesu
makes some really fine products, and I have found their service to be
excellent the one whole time I needed it in 18 years of buying their
products.
73,
Caity
