Hi Sonny=0D
=0D
Well, a hundred years ago when I got my 301, the CW filter=0D
was already installed at the factory, so I don't know=0D
what they did. I see in my book the XF-90C was the one=0D
I got and it was the standard CW filter. I don't see that they=0D
offered any narrower cw filter. =0D
=0D
Myself I am looking for a XF-90B,=0D
which was the AM filter. Anybody have one they don't want?=0D
=0D
Looking at the circuit board for the filter unit on page 30 of the=0D
manual, I see there is a transformer adjustment for the CW=0D
filter at T304. You might try doing the calibration for the=0D
filter unit on page 29 of the manual, and add tweaking T304 to=0D
the adjustment in step (c) of the procedure. =0D

Hi,=0D
Ok I am getting messages now. I guess there were no posts since I got=0D
my password.=0D
I am wondering if anyone on the list knows if the XF-90C narrow cw=0D
filter for the FT-301D is plug and play or if the is a jumper to cut or=0D
something? I installed the filter and really can't tell much difference=0D
in receive but in transmit with the filter in place I get only about 4=0D
or 5 watts out. Any tips will be appreciated.=0D
