Just sent my MKV FT-1000MP back to Vertex service. It's a two year old unit
that had less than 25 hours total power on time. Problems were SWR on
transmit running 20 to 30 watts reflected and the tuner was continuously
pulsing. Showed up on the 20, 15 and 10 meter bands. 40 and 80 did not show
the problems. Independent (from the radio) checks of the antenna feed line
showed less that 3 watts reflected. Also saw power out being limited as the
SWR indication worsened.
Anyone have similar problems??
