[Yaesu] HELP! FT-51R!!

Hi Guys, and gals.....
As you can tell, I am a newbie to the list... I happen to come into =
possesion a Yaesu FT-51R. (used of course) and being the brave (or =
perhaps foolish) soul I am, I thought I'd take it apart to see if I =
could fix a problem with the antenna connector bieng loose, to the point =
of spinning around and around... anyhow, got 1/2 way through and =
discovered that was a job left to someone with a bit more experience =
than myself.. anyhow... 2 hours, alot of sweat and shaking and a =
dictionary of swear words later... I got it back together... But now I =
got another problem... I cannot get the unit to power up... and I cannot =
figure out why! Only real problem I has was, that the little "thingy" =
that is the latch for the battery, has a spring, and I had to put it =
back on... and after I did that, I had to put that assembly back =
together... and maybe those pins in there aren't touching where they are =
supposed to??? I really hate to have to take it apart again, but if I =
must I will... can someone give me something to look for?
