That is odd -- having power on some of the hf bands, but not others.
try the following:
press and hold the func button -- this will bring you to the setup menu
use the select knob (the one on the bottom left) to get to menu entries 
21,22,23,24. Entry 21 is for HF, 22 for 6m, 23 for 2m, 24 for 70cm. Each 
entry will have 2 settings, one for AM power the other for other modes 
(use the mode button while in the menu configuration). Using the main 
knob on the right, you will be able to set each entry from 0-100 -- this 
value reflects a percentage of the max output. I don't know what is odd 
with the HF bands on your rig, but the entry in location 24 may have been 
set to zero.
