I use an external relay on my FT-1000MP MkV and believe that it is
valuable extra insurance even if not strictly necessary. This has been
my cautious policy for several rigs.

I am in the process of acquiring a Henry 2K Classic amplifier for the
shack.
My intentions are to drive it with my FT-1000D. Does anyone know if I

need an external relay for the keying line or will the FT-1000D work
with
the Henry as is?
