I was running Logic 8 on a Windows 7 machine with no problems, I'm now
running Logic 9 on a Windows 7 machine (64 bit),however I'm not a
sophisticated user (no contest or award log tracking) so I'm not using Logic
to its fullest. The machine is dual boot Win8 and Win7. Personal preference,
but Win8 is terrible as a desktop machine, and I don't have tablets, smart
cell phones or any of that stuff to see any advantage to learning to use
Win8. I haven't booted into the Win8 partition since I installed Win7 and
don't have any desire to use Win8. Win8 is just taking up disk space and
I'll trash it if I need more disk space. It sounds like Win8 is just Win7
with a really terrible user interface, especially for desktop/non-touch
screen users. For what it is worth....
