[LOGic] Win 7/64 & Flex 5000

Hank I am running an F5K with LOGIC8, and there was slight learning curve 
and setup challenge, but with the help of other LOGIC users (thanks 
folks!!!!) it is working fine.
Suggest you read the Flex Knowledge Base about VSP and VAC (Virtual Serial 
Cables, Virtual Audio Cables), as, depending on you have used LOGIC with 
analog radios, you may need to make some adaptations for CAT control, voice 
keyer, etc. But it can be done, and is not difficult and does not require 
investment in new hardware/software.
As to new computer, my 5-year old shack PC (2.7 GHZ dual core Pentium D, 1 
GB RAM, XP-SP3) is below the recommended standards & benchmarks stated by 
Flex, but it runs just fine 95+% of the time (even with dual receive). There 
are occasional hiccups, mostly due to latency, but I have had very little 
trouble. And yes, I have an upgraded hamshack PC on the drawing board, but 
am getting by with the old one for now.
With WIN7-x64, they tell me you need to make sure your peripherals have 
drivers suitable for 64 bit. I have not been there yet but the caveat is 
duly noted. A lot of people are running various Flex platforms under W7/64 
so I know that can be done too. I don't know what profile of Flex users are 
also running LOGIC, but they're out there.
Again, there are numerous articles on the Flex Knowledge Base about setting 
up different hardware, OS, 3rd party software, etc. In addition there are 
two Flex reflectors which have all kinds of info & user comments which will
