Thanks Mel. Actually, that will not be an issue with me. I don't use Logic for anything other then as a logging program.
As to choosing the software and then the appropriate computer, I am going on 75 years old and have decided to divorce Microsoft. Everytime they come out with a new OS, it is full of promises, but there is always issues. Best computers I ever owned were made by Commodore.... the Amiga in particular. (now that really dates me)
I touched on MIxW and clearly the COM and LPT ports would be an issue there.
