Fw: [LOGic] HRD

Sorry, Dennis, but these folks are correct about this request. DM780 is an
excellent update for operating the digital medium, to include RTTY and PSK.
For example, it takes off nicely where HamScope ended several years ago. It
is a pain in the Gluteus Maximus to have to log a PSK or RTTY contact (sorry
but no CW at this station, too old for it) in one software package and then
transfer the operating and contact data back into Logic 8.
The work you did with Logic 7 and 8 to interface with HamScope several years
ago was outstanding. It would be wonderful to be able to do the same things
with DM780 with the same flexibility and ease.
Along the same lines, can you give any consideration to merging the Logic8
MAP features with the DX ATLAS program? The MAP is great for showing QSO
propagation activity, where the action is, short path vs. long path etc.
But I find myself using DX ATLAS more frequently to find the exact
geographic location of rear/hard to find stations, gray line time frames and
relationships, and visual, geographic, relationships between DX stations.
In other words, I use it very heavily as a "world globe". Part of the
reason I depend on DX ATLAS is because I flunked Geography in junior high
school. At my age, trying to teach a old dog new tricks can be challenging!
