[LOGic] Country Update--Problem Solve--by Dennis

Jack and others who have responded-
Dennis took control of my machine via NetMeeting and ran the Country Update,
getting the same problem with FJ as I had been having. After poking around
Dennis found that my Logic root directory was loaded with .cdx, .dbf, and
.fpt files which should have not been there--including the country file. So
although the new file had been installed in a subdirectory (data, I
believe), that was not what Logic was looking at, having found the file in
the top directory. Dennis eliminated all those files (something else may
well have been out of date) and all was well. The only .dbf file which
should remain was a options file. Dennis had no idea what had caused the
files to be in the wrong place, but something bad must have happened to my
machine around April of last year. Anyway, you may have the same problem on
your Mother machine.

I have the same issue. I run Logic on "Mother' and Junior (laptop) I 
update Junior first and everything worked as it should. When I 
updated Mother FJ does now show.
Yes, I can do it manually but the questions is: why does it work on 
one computer and not the other?
